Fort Worth – Each year the Fort Worth ISD Student Placement Center helps thousands of students who have a language other than English at home, register for school. Registration and testing for the 2008-2009 school year will begin on Monday, August 11th.
The Student Placement Center is part of the Bilingual/ESL Department and, in addition placement testing and registration, can provide many valuable services for new students and their families.

“Each year we register/test about 3,000 new students enrolling in FWISD for the first time,” said Chris Criswell, Coordinator for the Student Placement Center. “We are a great resource to help students and parents navigate the registration process.”
The SPC is located at 999 North University in Fort Worth. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More information about the Student Placement Center and its services is available on the FWISD Web site, www.fwisd.org
